Job summary

Next Level Talent Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a busy Catering Service team operating across the North West. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs, service gas systems, and maintain safety documentation.

We require a minimum of 3 years in commercial gas, a valid Commercial ACS, and a full UK driving licence. A company vehicle is provided along with training and development opportunities to support career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial gas maintenance and breakdowns.
• Servicing in the Catering industry.
• Valid Commercial ACS certification (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults on commercial gas appliances and associated plant.
• Complete reactive repairs and follow-up works.
• Carry out planned servicing of gas appliances and systems.
• Complete all gas safety documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Our client is a well established and well respected business that due to a strong period of growth and expansion, they are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a busy and growing Commercial Catering Service team operating across the North West.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults on commercial gas appliances and associated plant
• Complete reactive repairs and follow-up works
• Carry out planned servicing of gas appliances and systems
• Complete all gas safety documentation accurately and in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial gas maintenance and breakdowns
• Servicing in the Catering industry
• Valid Commercial ACS certification (essential)
• Domestic ACS, OFTEC, or oil experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS are desirable
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently
