Job summary

Engineering Personnel Ltd is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to service, repair and maintain gas appliances and systems in commercial properties such as offices, hotels and universities. The role requires NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating, ACS Commercial Gas Tickets, and a full UK driving licence; you must be based in or willing to travel within the Yorkshire regions.

Salary £44,000–£50,000 with travel pay, overtime, sick pay, a Company van and phone/tablet, 23 days holiday +

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating is required.
• ACS Commercial Gas Tickets are required.
• Full UK Driving License is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain gas appliances and systems in commercial properties such as offices, hotels, hospitals, apartment blocks, sports stadiums and universities.
• Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems.
• Replace or repair gas appliances and systems as needed.
• Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Assist with installation projects.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Commercial Gas Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems in commercial properties such as offices, hotels, hospitals, apartment blocks, sports stadiums, and universities
• Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems
• Replace or repair gas appliances and systems as needed
• Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
• Assist with installation projects
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Commercial Gas Engineer Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
• ACS Commercial Gas Tickets
• Based in South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, or East Yorkshire
• Full UK Driving License

Commercial Gas Engineer remuneration:

• Salary £44,000 - £50,000
• Travel pay - After 15 mins
• Overtime available
• Call out 1 in 7/8 (£180 for standby)
