Staffline is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team on a permanent basis and work on a major supermarket contract. You will perform PPMs, respond to service calls, and maintain a range of HVAC systems while following all safety policies.

The role requires commercial gas qualifications and a strong background in air handling units, boilers, pumps and related equipment. A van, fuel card, tools, uniform and IT equipment are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold commercial gas qualifications (at least 4 listed: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1).
• 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable).
• Unvented Water Heaters – HWSS Hot Water Systems & Safety (including G3 Unvented HWS) – Essential.
• Salary stated in the ad: £46,994 including on-call standby 1:4.

Aufgaben

• Complete the PPM schedule and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
• Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and assess requirements; perform repairs within timescales and update status.
• Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets: AHUs, gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pumps, air conditioning, boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW, water chillers.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise Line Manager with replacement recommendations.
• All work performed in line with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

• Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• To respond (promptly and positively) to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times. Updating the call and job status afterwards.
• Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including but not limited to air handling units with gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.
• To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and to make recommendations to the Line Manager regarding suitable replacement.
• All completed within our Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Qualifications & Experience – Commercial Gas Engineer

• You will hold recognized Commercial Gas qualifications – you will have at least 4 of the following qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1
• 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable)
• Unvented Water Heaters – HWSS Hot Water Systems & Safety (including G3 Unvented HWS) – Essential

• Travel time after ½ hour each way
