Staffline is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer for the M65 Corridor/Chorley area. This permanent role offers £46,994.00 per year including on-call standby (1:4) and a standard 42.5 hour week. Travel time, van, fuel card, tools and IT equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• You will hold recognized Commercial Gas qualifications.
• F Gas (2079) qualification is required.
• 17th or 18th Edition is desirable.
• Unvented Water Heaters HWSS/ G3 Unvented HWS knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete the PPM schedule and ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Respond promptly to service calls and carry out repairs within agreed timescales.
• Maintain HVAC assets including gas heating, boiler, pumps, chillers and air handling units.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise on replacements as needed.
• Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

Commercial Gas Engineer

M65 Corridor/Chorley

My client is on the lookout for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

Key Responsibilities - Commercial Gas Engineer

• Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• To respond (promptly and positively) to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times. Updating the call and job status afterwards.
• Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including but not limited to air handling units with gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.
• To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and to make recommendations to the Line Manager regarding suitable replacement.
• All completed within our Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Qualifications & Experience - Commercial Gas Engineer

• £46,994.00 (salary including on call standby 1:4)
• 42.5 Hours Per Week, 8:30am-5:00pm
• 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Overtime
• Travel time after ½ hour each way
