Job summary

Liberty Group is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer for the North West region. You will service and maintain commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems, reporting using a PDA and ensuring gas safety compliance.

The role offers uncapped earning potential with a company van, fuel card, and excellent benefits. A full UK driving licence and ACS certificates are required, with additional LPG/Unvented qualifications desirable.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications required: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT and other listed certs.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• Solid understanding of gas legislation and health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdown of commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems.
• Operate in line with health & safety guidelines and gas safety regulations.
• Undertake PPM activities and occasional install work.
• Report works with PDA and log outcomes.

Commercial Gas Engineer – North West

Up to £60,000 withOTE | Local Work (NW Area)| Company Van & Fuel Card |

Your Role as a Commercial Gas Engineer:

• Service, maintenance and breakdown of commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems, working to health & safety guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations and specifications
• No nationwide travel or staying away from home.
• Complete Install work occasionally
• Undertake PPM activity
• Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs (Call out rate of 1 in 5)
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and safety
• Report works using your PDA
• Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards
• Handle any additional maintenance tasks within your remit

What We Need from You.

• ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
• COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1, CIGA1
• A full UK driving license
• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
• A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards
• Ability to manage your time and workload independently
• Recognised formal qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) (desirable)
• Additional qualifications (LPG, Unvented) are desirable
