Job summary

Liberty Gas Group is seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to service and repair in Cardiff and nearby areas. You will work to health and safety standards, perform annual gas servicing, and respond to call-outs on a rota basis. Excellent customer service and safety focus are essential.

Applicants should hold ACS CCN1/HTR1/CKR1/CENWAT, have a valid UK driving license, and be adaptable to varied schedules. The role offers an uncapped earning potential, company van, fuel card, and strong development

Qualifications

• Must hold ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1 and CENWAT.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Proven customer service skill with the public.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Complete annual gas servicing and minor heating repairs following safety guidelines.
• Open to out-of-hours call-outs on a rota basis.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain safety and satisfaction levels.
• Report and record works using the PDA system.
• Identify and report accidents, near-misses and hazards.

Your Role:

• Completion of annual gas servicing & minor heating repairs working to health & safety guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations and specifications


• Must be available for out-of-hours call-outs on a rota basis


• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and safety


• Report / Complete works using your PDA


• Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards


• Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules

What We Need from You:

• ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT


• A full UK driving license


• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules


• Excellent customer service skills with experience working with the public


• A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations


• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards


• Ability to manage your time and workload independently


• Recognised formal qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) (desirable)


• Additional qualifications (LPG, Unvented, Oil, ASHP) (desirable)
