Job summary

HAMILTON ROWE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a facilities management team in Dundee and cover sites across North East Scotland.

The role involves PPM and reactive maintenance on gas, heating and HVAC systems, fault finding, installations, and occasional out-of-hours work with a 1-in-12 rota. Travel between sites and strict safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

Strong experience with commercial gas, combustion and heating systems.
Experience in PM and reactive maintenance in FM or building services.
Confident fault finding, repairing and maintaining commercial heating and gas systems.
Gas qualifications including COCN1 or CODNC1, plus TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1 and CIGA1.
Domestic gas qualifications CCN1, CENWAT1 and CPA1.
City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, HVAC or related mechanical discipline.
IPAF/PASMA desirable.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on commercial gas, heating and HVAC systems.
Fault find and diagnose issues across commercial combustion and heating systems.
Complete repairs, installations and replacements on gas and heating systems.
Undertake general building services maintenance including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fabric works.
Respond to out-of-hours callouts as part of an approx. 1-in-12 rota.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations and standards.
Travel between client sites across North East Scotland.

Commercial Gas Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team covering a range of sites across North East Scotland.

The role will involve carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial gas, heating and wider building services systems. You will also be responsible for fault finding, repairs and installation works, with an out-of-hours callout rota as part of the position.

The Role:

About You:
