Job summary

Coleman James is recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer for a permanent, field-based role covering Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and repair commercial gas and heating systems to ensure safety, compliance and efficient operation across multiple sites.

The position offers ongoing training and development, career progression opportunities and a company van for business use, with a focus on health and safety and regulatory compliance across a multi-site

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial gas/heating systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs
• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Working on commercial boilers and associated plant equipment
• Combustion analysis and relevant safety testing
• Minor mechanical and plumbing works
• Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning
• Completing required inspections and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all work meets relevant health, safety and industry regulations

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities and maintenance operation covering a portfolio of sites across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

This is a permanent, field-based opportunity offering a varied workload across multiple properties. You'll be responsible for ensuring commercial heating and gas systems remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently.
