Job summary

Mark May in Derby is seeking an experienced Commercial Engineer to carry out planned and reactive service and repair work in commercial settings. You will install equipment and systems to a high standard, diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs, and maintain accurate service records.

You will work Monday to Friday with no out-of-hours work, but 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis, with Saturdays paid accordingly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong experience in service, repair and installation.
• Experience working within commercial environments.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and quality workmanship.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who is confident working in commercial environments and looking for a stable role with no out-of-hours call-outs.

The Role
