Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer for a mobile role covering Reading and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain, diagnose faults and repair commercial gas systems across a mix of high-end residential, commercial and educational sites.

The role involves travel between Reading, Swindon, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and occasionally London, with DBS clearance where required and a strong focus on health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant commercial gas qualifications and strong commercial gas experience.
• Experience carrying out breakdowns, fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
• Ideally experience with commercial gas, oil and LPG systems.
• Good knowledge of domestic gas systems would be advantageous.
• A strong hands-on maintenance background.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out fault finding across commercial heating systems.
• Working across high-end residential, commercial, education and prestigious sites.
• Travelling across Reading, Swindon, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and occasionally London.
• Supporting and mentoring younger engineers within the team.
• Completing service reports and working to strict health & safety and compliance standards.

Are you a Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a varied mobile role working across high-end residential, commercial, education and prestigious sites? This role is ideal for a Commercial Gas Engineer who wants to work on a varied range of systems and sites rather than being based on one static location. You'll be carrying out servicing, maintenance, breakdowns and fault finding across Reading, Swindon, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and into London, working with prestigious clients.

Your Job As A Commercial Gas Engineer Will Include:
