Job summary

Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to service and maintain gas systems on commercial sites across the North-West, including Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool, Wigan and Blackburn. The role offers a competitive base with overtime and a strong benefits package.

You will hold Mechanical City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or 3, ACS Gas Certifications, and be able to work in customer-facing environments. A full UK driving licence and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Gas maintenance and PPM experience in commercial environments.
• Customer- and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend commercial projects and call-outs to maintain, fault-find, service and fix gas building services.
• Carry out installation, maintenance and remedial work on commercial gas systems (boilers, heat pumps, valves, vessels).
• Communicate professionally with clients and site managers; on-call when required.

Commercial Gas Engineer

Meridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor in the North-west who predominantly work across Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool, Wigan, and Blackburn areas. With a growing FM team of permanent maintenance engineers, you would be joining a respected and growing company. With a wide variety of work on commercial contracts in the area, there are plenty of additional earning possibilities as well as a strong benefits package.

Requirements for this role:

• Mechanical City & Guilds qualification to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3
• ACS Gas Certifications
• Unvented Cyclinders
• Experience of Gas Maintenance and PPM within commercial environments
• Current Enhanced DBS Check(or willingness to undertake)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience being customer and client-facing

Duties include (but are not exclusive to):

• Attending commercial projects and call-outs to maintain, fault-find, service, and fixgas building services
• Carry out installation, maintenance, and remedial work oncommercialgas systems such as boilers, heat pumps, valves, vessels etc.
• Complete maintenance and installation tasks reliably, meeting time demands whilst ensuring all work complies with health & safety and building regulations
• Communicateprofessionally and effectivelywith with clients and site managers in various locations, sometimes including sensitive environments
• Working on-call when required
