Job summary

HVSS - High Voltage Systems & Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Commercial Team. This role will support commercial performance, strengthen cost control, and drive strategic growth across projects.

You will lead tendering and contract management, build relationships with clients and suppliers, and implement structured governance across bids and deliveries to optimise commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience in commercial management within construction/utilities.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify commercial development needs across sales, tendering, design and construction.
• Introduce structured workflows for governance across projects.
• Support tendering with cost estimates and client specifications.
• Manage supply chain, procurement, orders, valuations and invoices.
• Track changes, variations and final accounts; support claims.
