This role is the overall lead for financial support across the Premier Inn Commercial Team for UK and Germany. Acting as the key finance business partner for all Premier Inn product & proposition development, ancillary income, brand and digital marketing, B2B, and accommodation sales.

Location: Dunstable, hybrid - a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver a robust and cost-effective Refurbishment programme through support on site selection and driving value for money
• Maintain control over capital/opex investments and PI Brand team expenditure (Brand Marketing & overheads)
• Responsible for the financial evaluation of new PI customer and product development initiatives, including effective trials and investment appraisal
• Develop and maintain commercial P&L for UK and DE with accurate budgeting and forecasting
• Lead financial support to Product and Innovation team in driving PI Ancillary Revenue

What We Need

• Qualified accountant with minimum 5 years PQE experience
• Commercial acumen – understanding of operational business drivers and ability to identify trends to inform future strategy
• Strong thought leadership to develop the business partnering strategy and identify commercial opportunities
• Analytical rigor - structured, methodical approach to business analysis, ability to identify core issues and provide logical assessments
• Technical skills – strong understanding of financial planning and management techniques including financial modelling
