Investigo is seeking a commercially focused finance professional to develop their career in a fast-paced, project-led environment. You will partner with non-finance teams, deliver insightful analysis and support business growth.

You will produce monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide forward-looking financial insight to senior stakeholders. Flexible working arrangements and study support for qualifications are offered.

Formación

• Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong Excel skills with financial modelling, analysis and reporting.
• Previous experience within a finance, commercial finance or management accounting environment.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and interpreting financial information.
• Confident communicator able to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commercially minded with a proactive and inquisitive approach.
• Able to build relationships across different business functions.
• Keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing organisation.

Responsabilidades

• Produce monthly management accounts for designated business areas.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting, providing clear visibility of financial performance.
• Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, deferred income and related balance sheet items.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insight to support business decisions.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with operational, commercial and project teams to provide financial support and challenge.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis for senior management.
• Monitor project performance and assist pricing reviews and investment decisions.
• Support working capital improvements and process controls.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused finance professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, project-led business. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will support operational, commercial and business development stakeholders by providing financial insight, analysis and decision support.

This role offers excellent exposure to senior leaders and will suit someone who enjoys partnering with non-finance teams, analysing performance, and contributing to business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts for designated business areas.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting, providing clear visibility of financial performance.
• Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, deferred income and related balance sheet items.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insight to support business decisions.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.

Commercial Business Partnering

• Build strong relationships with operational, commercial and project teams.
• Provide financial support and challenge to improve business performance.
• Review project and contract profitability, identifying opportunities, risks and areas for improvement.
• Support stakeholders with cost control, margin enhancement and financial efficiency initiatives.
• Provide forward-looking insight through analysis of trends, forecasts and business performance.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and regular reforecasts.
• Deliver detailed rolling forecasts for review with senior management.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, highlighting key variances and actions.

Project & Contract Support

• Monitor project performance and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with accounting standards.
• Support business cases, pricing reviews and investment decisions.
• Assist commercial and sales teams with financial evaluation of opportunities and pipeline activity.
• Support profitability analysis and contract performance reviews.

Working Capital & Process Improvement

• Work closely with shared finance teams to support accurate billing and cash collection.
• Assist in monitoring debt positions and improving working capital performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and controls.
• Support compliance with financial governance and internal controls.

About You

• Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA, AAT or equivalent professional qualification.
