Rutherford Cross is recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a growing finance team in the United Kingdom. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to provide meaningful financial insight across commercial areas.

Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or an experienced analyst is welcome to apply. Responsibilities include monthly MI, budgeting/forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis, with a focus on improving profitability and supporting business

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance, accounting or analytical role.
• Studying towards ACCA / CIMA.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience preparing management information and interpreting financial data.
• Commercially minded with good problem-solving abilities.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Inquisitive with a proactive approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management information and KPI reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for decisions.
• Deliver insights into performance, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with operational teams to challenge performance and improve profitability.
• Support month-end reporting and management accounts activities.

Rutherford Cross is working with a growing and forward-thinking business to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst into a key role within the finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting business decision-making across a broad range of operational and commercial areas.

This role would suit a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or an experienced analyst looking to progress their career within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The Role:

Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and analysing monthly management information and KPI reporting
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
• Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions
• Delivering insight into business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Partnering with operational teams to challenge performance and improve profitability
• Supporting month-end reporting and management accounts activities
• Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting tools
• Assisting with business cases, investment appraisals and ad-hoc commercial analysis

About You:

• Experience within a finance, accounting or analytical role
• Studying towards ACCA / CIMA
