Job description

Are you commercially savvy with a passion for the fast-moving world of consumer goods? We are looking for a Commercial Executive to support our sales and growth strategy across key accounts.

Location - Uxbridge/Greater London (site based)

Purpose of the role

  • Support the Commercial Manager to exploit potential growth within the UK market and assist in the day-to-day management of accounts to deliver profitable business with excellent service levels and targeted growth.
  • Involvement and influence in Account Management, commercial administration, forecasting, and customer interaction.
  • Serve as the key contact and assist with project management for all NPD projects.
  • Support the Snr Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager with account updates, reports, S&OP, and revenue management.

Key Responsibilities

  • P+L responsibility for a defined account to drive brand growth in line with business objectives.
  • Maintain daily commercial contact for Accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement customer plans, including in-store and online activation.
  • Evaluate promotional performance and develop recommendations to maximize effectiveness.
  • Conduct reporting and data analysis, creating action plans with the Snr or Commercial Manager.
  • Manage supply chain reporting, including stock and shortage issues.
  • Liaise with supply site planners to ensure full CSL.
  • Oversee project management of NPD critical paths.
  • Conduct weekly forecasting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage customer admin for specific accounts, including promotional nominations and EPOS analysis.
  • Assist in delivering joint business plans with the Snr/Commercial Manager.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in Food Manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Confident in presenting to internal and external parties.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving results.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High integrity in business and personal dealings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
