Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Electrician to cover the Midlands region. The role involves maintenance, installations, testing and fault finding across hospitals, shopping centres and other large commercial properties.

The successful candidate will work on projects from small works to up to £2 million, with a company vehicle provided and strong training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations are required.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred.
• Previous commercial electrical experience is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Commercial Electrician

Location: Midlands

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a growing team covering the Midlands.

This is a varied role working across a range of commercial sites, including hospitals, shopping centres and other large commercial properties. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, installations, testing, fault finding and small electrical projects.

Project values can range from smaller works through to projects worth up to £2 million, providing excellent variety and opportunities to develop your experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Commercial electrical installations and rewires

• Reactive call-outs and small works
• Working across a variety of commercial environments
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations

Requirements
