Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Commercial Director to lead the commercial strategy and performance across energy services nationwide. London or Leeds, national role, Senior Leadership Team member.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, shaping procurement, risk management and contract governance while driving growth in decarbonisation and energy infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in engineering, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage risk.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 and JCT contracts; experience with bespoke contracts is a plus.
• Track record of improving commercial performance and delivering transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Influence strategy, procurement, budgeting and forecasting across projects.
• Oversee negotiations on major contracts and supplier agreements.
• Ensure governance, controls and transparent reporting across the business.
