Job summary

Dalkia UK is expanding its Commercial function in the North West and seeks a Commercial Manager to own the regional strategy and performance across multiple projects. You will lead pre-contract through to final account, protect margins, manage risk and drive profitable growth.

You'll bring significant senior commercial leadership experience in an M&E installation environment, with a track record of managing a region around £30m turnover, and strong skills in negotiation, contracts (JCT/NEC) and

As part of our exciting growth plans, we are expanding our presence across the North West region and are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Commercial Manager to play a pivotal leadership role in this journey.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Regional Director, helping shape and grow a new regional operation while driving commercial performance across a portfolio of complex and high-value projects.

What you'll be doing;

As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial strategy, governance and performance of the North West region. You will lead all commercial activities from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably while protecting margins, managing risk and supporting sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the commercial function across multiple projects and programmes.
• Developing and implementing regional commercial strategies aligned to business objectives.

What you'll bring;

Are you an experienced commercial leader with a proven track record within the M&E sector?

You’ll bring:

• Significant experience in a senior commercial leadership role within an M&E installation organisation.
• Experience managing commercial performance within a region generating approximately £30m turnover.
• Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Degree qualification (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on when required.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing commercial teams.
