Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a high-calibre Project Director to lead major energy, infrastructure and decarbonisation programmes in the UK. You will be accountable for a portfolio with potential value up to £30m, guiding multi-disciplinary teams through design, construction, commissioning and handover.

You will build strong client relationships, chair boards, and shape strategies while promoting safety and sustainability across delivery. UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex projects or portfolios up to £30m.
• Strong commercial and financial governance skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Full EPC lifecycle experience from design through commissioning and M&V.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and lead client boards.
• Net Zero, sustainability focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the programme and portfolio, ensuring cost, time, quality and safety targets.
• Develop and own the programme strategy, managing inter-project dependencies.
• Provide governance across commercial, financial, operational, risk and QSHE performance.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and chair project boards/steering groups.
• Develop people, coach Project Managers and create a high-performing culture.
• Shape operational strategy and identify risks, opportunities and efficiencies across the portfolio.
• Champion safety and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
