Job summary

SaccoMann is seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join a well-established Birmingham team. The role concentrates on general commercial contracts with a strong focus on goods and services work, servicing a varied client base.

You will draft, review and negotiate agreements, advise on commercial arrangements, identify risks, and maintain client relationships while supporting business development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Excellent drafting and negotiating of commercial agreements.
• Experience or interest in goods and services contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness and practical problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on general commercial contracts across a broad range of matters.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating goods and services agreements.
• Advising on supply, distribution and other commercial arrangements.
• Reviewing terms and identifying key legal and commercial risks.
• Negotiating with customers, suppliers and third parties.
• Providing practical advice on contractual issues and day-to-day matters.
• Working with clients to meet commercial objectives.
• Supporting colleagues on complex and strategic matters.
• Managing your own caseload and prioritising deadlines.
• Developing strong client relationships and contributing to BD.
