Job summary

SCC is seeking a 2yr+ PQE qualified legal counsel to support the Head of Legal in Birmingham. You will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, shape SCC's standard templates, and partner with multiple business teams to de-risk transactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE in commercial law, with in-house or top firm background.
• Experience drafting and negotiating IT contracts, SaaS, MSAs and DSPs.
• Excellent verbal and written English with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including customer and vendor agreements.
• Develop and maintain standard SCC contract templates reflecting portfolio changes.
• Join customer calls to discuss risk, products, and service offerings.
• Work with expanding commercial and compliance teams under month-end and quarter-end pressures.
• Provide cross‑functional legal support across SCC group.
