Oculus Legal Group is seeking a Commercial Contracts Solicitor in Birmingham with 2+ PQE to join a leading international law firm. You will handle drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements for diverse clients and sectors.

You will advise on general commercial and contractual matters, manage your own matters with Partner support, and collaborate across the firm’s national and international network, with development opportunities in business initiatives.

Are you a Commercial Solicitor who wants to stay genuinely broad in your practice, rather than being pushed into one narrow specialism?

I’m working with a leading international law firm looking to strengthen its established Birmingham team with the appointment of a Commercial Contracts Solicitor at 2+ PQE.

This is a broad commercial role offering exposure to high-quality work across a variety of clients and sectors, with a strong focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.

You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own matters while working closely with experienced Partners and colleagues across the firm’s wider national and international network.

The role will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
• Advising clients on general commercial and contractual matters
• Managing your own matters with appropriate Partner support
• Working collaboratively with teams across the wider firm
• Getting involved in business development and client initiatives
• Developing your career within a large international platform

The package:

• £75,000–£85,000 salary + bonus
• Pension with up to 7% employer contribution
• 25 days’ annual leave plus public holidays, increasing with service
