SaccoMann is seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join a well-established Birmingham team. The role concentrates on general commercial contracts with a strong focus on goods and services work, servicing a varied client base.

You will draft, review and negotiate agreements, advise on commercial arrangements, identify risks, and maintain client relationships while supporting business development within a collaborative team.

Responsabilités

• Advising clients on general commercial contracts across a broad range of matters.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating goods and services agreements.
• Advising on supply, distribution and other commercial arrangements.
• Reviewing terms and identifying key legal and commercial risks.
• Negotiating with customers, suppliers and third parties.
• Providing practical advice on contractual issues and day-to-day matters.
• Working with clients to meet commercial objectives.
• Supporting colleagues on complex and strategic matters.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor to join a well-established team in Birmingham.

The role focuses primarily on general commercial contracts, with a particular emphasis on goods and services work rather than technology and intellectual property. You’ll work with a varied client base on a broad range of commercial matters, providing practical and commercially focused advice.

This is a great opportunity for a commercial lawyer looking to take on high-quality work, develop strong client relationships and work alongside experienced colleagues within a supportive team.

The Work will include:

• Advising clients on a broad range of general commercial contracts.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating goods and services agreements.
• Advising on supply, distribution and other commercial arrangements.
• Reviewing contractual terms and identifying key legal and commercial risks.
• Negotiating agreements with customers, suppliers and other third parties.
• Providing practical advice on contractual issues and day-to-day commercial matters.
• Working closely with clients to understand their commercial objectives.
• Supporting colleagues on more complex and strategic matters.
• Managing your own caseload and prioritising competing deadlines.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the team.

About You

We’re looking for a solicitor with:

• 3–9 years’ PQE in Commercial
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience or a particular interest in goods and services contracts.
• Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The confidence to deal directly with clients and build strong relationships.
• Good organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to working within a team.
