Job summary

HOME REPAIR NETWORK LIMITED is recruiting a Commercial Property Claims Handler for a full-time hybrid role. The position is primarily based in Rainworth with some work-from-home flexibility to support claims management and client service.

You will assess and manage insurance claims, apply policy terms, and prepare building repair specifications, while liaising with clients and stakeholders to deliver accurate, cost-conscious settlements.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial claims handling and claims management.
• Expertise in commercial property insurance claims and policy interpretation.
• Knowledge of policy conditions and endorsements.
• Technical knowledge of building pathology and repair specs up to £50k.
• Detail-oriented and well organised.
• Previous insurance experience is essential.
• Certifications such as Cert CII, Cert CILA, BDMA or RICS are desirable.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Property Claims Handler. The role is primarily located in Rainworth, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Commercial Property Claims Handler will be responsible for managing and handling insurance claims, decision making and accurate policy application and interpretation, creation of building repair specifications, communicating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring the efficient processing of claims whilst maintaining a reasonable cost control.

Qualifications / Skills

• Skills in Commercial Claims Handling and Claims Management
• Expertise in Commercial Property Insurance Claims, including policy application & interpretation.
• Awareness & knowledge of policy conditions, endorsements & all risks
• Technical expert in buildings pathology & experience of building repair specification up to £50k
• Detail-oriented and organised
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field is essential
• Relevant certification in insurance, business, or a related field such as Cert CII, Cert CILA, BDMA, RICS.
