Job summary

Howden, the new name for Aston Lark, is seeking a Claims Executive in Manchester to manage commercial insurance claims from notification to settlement, including complex losses. You will provide guidance to clients and act as a trusted adviser throughout the claims journey.

You will work closely with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters and legal representatives, visit clients after significant losses, and negotiate settlements that align with policy coverage, while supporting retention and strong

Qualifications

Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and claims procedures.
Previous commercial claims experience within an insurance brokerage environment.
Knowledge of insurance principles, market practice and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage commercial insurance claims from notification through to settlement, including complex losses.
Act as a trusted adviser to clients throughout the claims process.
Collaborate with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters and legal representatives to resolve claims.
Visit clients after significant losses to investigate and gather information.
Negotiate with insurers to secure the best possible settlement.
Work with a Claims Handler to deliver efficient service to clients.
Build strong relationships to support retention and client propositions.
