Job description

A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client based on the South Coast near Brighton. They are a leading company in commercial catering equipment, serving the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. The role involves providing service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on various commercial catering and refrigeration equipment, with opportunities to work across Kent, from Dover to Dartford, in locations such as restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Comcat qualifications (Comcat 1, 3, and 5),
2. Or extensive electrical catering experience,
3. And a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and dishwashers. Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.

Benefits include a salary of £42-47k depending on experience, a 40-hour work week, door-to-door travel paid, a 1 in 6 weeks call-out rota with a paid retainer, a company van with personal use and fuel card, overtime opportunities at 1.5x and 2x rates, and holiday entitlement starting at 21 days, rising to 25 days after 3 years, plus bank holidays.
