Job Description:

We are seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer for a client based on the South Coast near Brighton. The company is a leading supplier of commercial catering equipment to the catering, hospitality, and public sectors, providing services including maintenance, repairs, and installations of all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment.

The role involves providing service, maintenance, and breakdown support for catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers. The engineer will attend sites across North Essex, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars. Candidates must hold Comcat qualifications (1, 3, and 5).

Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and warewashing systems. Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.

Requirements:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications (essential)
• Experience in the commercial catering equipment industry
• Electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance experience
• Full UK driving license

Additional Information:

• Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
• 40-hour workweek
• Door-to-door travel paid
• 1 in 6 weeks call-out rota with paid retainer

• Overtime at 1.5x and 2x rates
• 21 days holiday, increasing to 25 days after 3 years, plus bank holidays
