The Commercial & Bid Manager is responsible for all contract and commercial agreements, ensuring the highest professional standards of commercial practice are maintained.

They interface with internal and external stakeholders and customers during bid generation and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing bids and commercial contracts, ensuring transparency and mitigation of commercial risks.
  • Negotiating Terms and Conditions, NDAs, and other contracts with customers.
  • Ensuring bids are supported by valid supplier quotations and comply with governance.
  • Communicating with stakeholders throughout the bidding process from strategic review to contract acceptance.
  • Updating legal terms and conditions related to contracts.
  • Supporting customers in understanding proposals, payment plans, and milestones, and managing risk registers.
  • Staying updated on commercial and legal practices through training and conferences.
  • Generating long-term business forecasts and contributing to growth strategies.
