Commercial & Bid Manager

The Commercial & Bid Manager is responsible for all contract and commercial agreements, ensuring the highest professional standards of commercial practice are maintained.

The Commercial & Bid Manager interfaces with internal and external stakeholders and customers during bid generation and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage creation and management of bids and contracts, ensuring risks are minimized and mitigated.
  • Negotiate Terms and Conditions, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other contracts with customers.
  • Ensure bids are supported by valid supplier quotations and adhere to governance standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers throughout the bidding process from strategic review to contract acceptance.
  • Maintain legal terms and standards related to contracts.
  • Support customers in understanding proposals, payment plans, and milestones; liaise with bid project managers and manage risk registers.
  • Stay updated on commercial and legal practices through training and conferences.
  • Generate and maintain 5-10 year business forecasts and contribute to growth strategies.
