Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Commercial Banking Controls Manager in the UK to strengthen its control environment within Commercial Banking Coverage. You will partner with teams to manage controls, respond to risk events and drive practical improvements, including data, reporting, automation and AI-enabled approaches.

The role foregrounds risk management, governance and collaboration with senior business partners, offering scope to enhance control processes and reporting across the function.

Qualifications

• Risk and control principles to understand and improve control environments.
• Experience with managing risk events and action tracking.
• Ability to interpret MI and data to drive recommendations.
• Experience with governance, audit's or controls functions.

Responsibilities

• Help Coverage teams understand, maintain and improve control environment.
• Manage existing controls; create/retire controls as processes change.
• Manage operational risk events and related actions to resolution.
• Analyse risk and control data to identify trends and issues.
• Prepare and present reporting for leadership and governance forums.
• Support investigations and thematic reviews with evidence-based actions.
