Job summary

Jumpstart is recruiting a Commercial Associate to help ambitious ex-consultants, bankers, and founders land roles at UK VC-backed startups. You will own deals from day one and help define how the startup makes revenue, who it sells to, and work with the product team to refine what they sell.

As a Commercial Associate, you’ll engage with founders and commercial leads, receive 1:1 interview training, and join a network offering mentorship to accelerate your career.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of banking/Finance experience
• 1–5 years of consulting experience
• Founded your own venture

Responsibilities

• Own accounts and close deals: run outbound, demos, and close deals with senior customers.
• Be entrepreneurial with outreach: use thought leadership, events, targeted messaging and marketing to win clients.
• Use data and analysis to refine decisions: identify ideal customers and test tactics to see what works.
• Work with product and tech leaders: liaise between customers and tech teams to evolve the product.
• Build new channels and growth initiatives: devise methods to grow revenue and pipeline for the startup.
• Implement AI and automation across the stack: use AI tools to improve GTM performance.
