AXIOM is seeking a Commercial Accounts Administrator to support the finance function with basic accounts administration while taking a lead role on commercial terms, contracts, and documentation across projects, suppliers, and customers. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will assist with monthly management accounts, invoices and accruals, and year-end preparations.

Formación

• Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Studying towards or holding AAT Level 2/3 (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with standard contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC) helpful but training provided
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Excellent communication for phone, email and documentation
• Ability to work independently with persistence and accountability
• Team player who supports colleagues and adapts to priorities
• Proficient with Excel and accounting software (Sage/Xero) and hold a UK driving licence

Responsabilidades

• Assist with accounts administration including month-end prep under Finance Director guidance
• Process invoices, reconcile supplier statements and manage accruals/prepayments
• Prepare year-end documentation and assist with audits
• Manage onboarding and due diligence of clients and suppliers; summarize contracts
• Review and assist with contracts, frameworks, T&Cs and amendments
• Maintain contract registers, templates and documentation; coordinate supplier/subcontractor docs
• Support governance, compliance and internal approvals; assist with dispute resolution
• Monitor credit terms and payment performance; escalate risks as needed
• Support bid/tender pricing and preparation of strategic proposals
• Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and templates
