An exciting opportunity has now arisen within theStamford Agency.

About the role:

· Building relationships with existing customers by reviewing policies at renewal stage.

· Identify, develop and generate General Insurance, Financial Services and Risk Management Leads from existing and new customers to meet relevant targets and reinforce the relationship and the reputation of NFU Mutual.

· Day-to-day management of existing accounts by transacting changes to commercial, personal and motor policies.

· Dealing with general incoming commercial queries from our diverse commercial client base.

· Cross selling financial lines policies, cover enhancements and Risk Management Services to existing clients.

· Report writing, data preparation and document publishing.

About you:

Highly motivated with a positive, can-do attitude, you use your face-to-face sales experience to consistently achieve sales targets. Ability to build strong, lasting relationships, leveraging your communication skills to foster trust and collaboration. Committed to learning and development and ready for the challenge of being part of a new team. To apply for this role, you must also have:

·Experience working within Insurance or other Financially Regulated Businesses

·Experience of working in a face-to-face sales environment, prospecting new business/sales opportunities

·Excellent written and verbal communication

·Self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously whilst being proactive and demonstrate initiative

·Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations and achieve positive outcomes

·Full UK Drivers license

·A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent of A-C grade including Maths and English.

·Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

You will receive full training, in a friendly and supportive environment, to ensure you are fully licensed in all the NFU Mutual products and those of their associated partners.

This role falls under the Insurance Distribution Directive. This means there is a requirement for Continuous Professional Development in role, in addition to ongoing screening checks once in post.

·£27,000+ starting salary depending on experience.

·Contractually we offer 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. But in addition to that we offer 2 days additional leave during Christmas week which does not come out of the holiday allocation

·Rewarding longevity, in addition to annual salary reviews we increase your holiday entitlement. This will increase by 2 days after 5 years service and 5 days after 10 years

·Comprehensive on-going training and personal development
