Job summary

Re-Recruitment-Group is supporting a Cheltenham-based insurance brokerage to recruit a Commercial Account Handler on a permanent basis. The role focuses on supporting Account Executives, handling client and insurer enquiries, and keeping documentation accurate and compliant.

Candidates should have at least 10 years in commercial insurance, strong customer service, and excellent organisation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years commercial insurance experience with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Good IT skills, with experience using SSP being highly advantageous.
• Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) would be beneficial.
• A proactive, dependable approach with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Account Executives with the day-to-day management of commercial client accounts.
• Handling client and insurer enquiries while ensuring all documentation and systems remain accurate and compliant.
• Managing insurance claims from initial notification through to resolution, liaising with all parties to achieve the best outcome for clients.
• Building strong relationships with insurers and clients while providing advice on a wide range of commercial insurance products.
• Preparing client presentations, maintaining scheme management procedures and identifying opportunities to support business growth.
