Job summary

LNJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Back Commercial Account Handler in Bournemouth. You will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, handling new business, renewals and MTAs while advising on a wide range of products and building lasting relationships.

You will negotiate with insurers for competitive terms and develop new business through referrals and networking, ensuring all work complies with FCA requirements and delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial insurance experience in a client-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach with focus on delivering outstanding service.
• Experience with Acturis or similar broking system is advantageous.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handlerto join one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Handling new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments (MTAs).
• Provide expert advice across a wide range of insurance products while developing lasting relationships
• Negotiating with insurers to secure the most suitable cover and competitive terms.
• Building relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Developing new business through referrals, networking and other business development activities.
• Providing professional advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with FCA requirements.

About You

• Previous Commercial Insurance experience as an Account Executive, Commercial Account Handler, Commercial Broker or similar.
• A strong understanding of commercial insurance products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach with a genuine focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Experience using Acturis or a similar broking system is advantageous but not essential.
