Job summary

LNJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join one of the UK's leading insurance brokers in Northampton. You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, handle new business, renewals and MTAs, and provide expert advice across a wide range of insurance products while developing lasting relationships.

The role offers up to £45,000 salary, funded CII qualifications, and clear career progression.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join one of the UK's leading insurance brokers.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.


• Handling new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments (MTAs).


• Provide expert advice across a wide range of insurance products while developing lasting relationships


• Negotiating with insurers to secure the most suitable cover and competitive terms.


• Building relationships with both new and existing clients.


• Developing new business through referrals, networking and other business development activities.


• Providing professional advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.


• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with FCA requirements.

About You

• Previous Commercial Insurance experience as an Account Executive, Commercial Account Handler, Commercial Broker or similar.


• A strong understanding of commercial insurance products.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


• A proactive approach with a genuine focus on delivering outstanding customer service.


• Experience using Acturis or a similar broking system is advantageous but not essential.
