Qualificações

• Proven experience within commercial insurance broking.

• Progress towards or attainment of Cert CII preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence and familiarity with broker systems like Acturis.

Role Summary

You will inherit a manageable commercial account base while taking the lead on local business development, giving you the autonomy to build a substantial book backed by leading market facilities, experienced placement support, and structured career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and expand an inherited commercial account base, giving you immediate portfolio stability and established client relationships to build upon from day one.
• Proactively develop your own pipeline and build local introducer relationships, providing you with autonomy over your business strategy and visibility as a key growth driver.
• Deliver thorough risk reviews, client presentations, and fact-finding visits, deepening your technical advisory expertise across a wide variety of business sectors.
• Shape placement strategies and conduct direct negotiations with composite underwriters, giving you strong insurer market standing and control over programme design.

Requirements

• Proven experience within commercial insurance broking, with a sound understanding of core commercial products and client programme structures.
• Demonstrated ability to drive new business conversations and retain existing clients through consultative relationship management.
• Commitment to professional development, with progress towards or attainment of Cert CII status preferred.
• A full UK driving licence and working familiarity with broker management platforms such as Acturis.
