Job Description

The Commercial Account Executive will generate new software license sales revenue within customers in the [insert location here] area, focusing on organizations with 1,000 to 5,000 employees. This role involves territory planning, prospect research, business development, and field-based sales activities.

What you will do:

  • Build relationships within Mid-Market clients and meet quarterly and annual sales quotas for your territory.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy with a target prospect list and regional plan.
  • Collaborate with marketing to initiate growth strategies.
  • Qualify prospects, develop new sales opportunities, and generate ongoing revenue streams.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Manage accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Advise customers on how ServiceNow can support their IT roadmaps.

Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools and automations.
  • 3+ years in a similar role within the IT industry.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with virtual support teams.
  • Experience managing executive relationships.
  • Strong CRM skills and transparency in sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%, up to 30% in some cases.
