Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant in Ceredigion to support pupils across Nursery, Reception, KS1 and KS2. This long-term role starts immediately and offers ongoing development opportunities within a caring primary school environment.

You will work alongside the class teacher to deliver daily activities, run small group interventions and provide additional support to pupils needing extra guidance, helping them reach their full potential.

TeacherActive are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils across Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering small group interventions and providing additional support to pupils who may require extra guidance with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• A good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
