Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Ceredigion, Wales, with an immediate start and long-term placement. You will support pupils from Nursery through KS2, assisting the class teacher with daily activities and targeted interventions.

The role requires a patient, adaptable approach, strong communication skills and a good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales. The position is paid at a rate of £85.50 per hour on a PAYE basis.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable).
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• A good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with daily activities.
• Deliver small group interventions.

TeacherActive are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils across Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering small group interventions and providing additional support to pupils who may require extra guidance with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• A good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
