Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Nursery, Reception, KS1 and KS2 in primary schools across Ceredigion. You will assist the class teacher with daily activities, and deliver small group interventions to help pupils stay engaged and on track.

The role is long-term with an immediate start, paid on PAYE. CPD courses, certificates, market-leading pay rates, and a referral scheme are provided, with a dedicated consultant team available around the clock.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• A good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning.

TeacherActive are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils across Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering small group interventions and providing additional support to pupils who may require extra guidance with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• A good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
