Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Cardigan is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Nursery to KS2. Immediate start on a long-term basis, working with the class teacher on daily activities and small group interventions.

The role requires a TA qualification (level 2/3 desirable), experience in primary settings, and good knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales. Paid PAYE with competitive rates and ongoing CPD support are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

TeacherActive are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils across Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering small group interventions and providing additional support to pupils who may require extra guidance with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• A good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
