Royal Mail is hiring a Collection and Network Driver at our Barnstaple Delivery Office. This permanent, part-time role involves delivering and collecting mail, sorting bags, and supporting our customers with pride.

You will work 16.25 hours per week over five days (Mon-Fri) between 15:00 and 18:15, with occasional weekend work as needed. A full UK manual driving licence is required and you’ll join a team focused on reliable, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong people skills and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail along the assigned route.

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
