Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for a Collection and Network Driver in Basildon to join a small team on a fixed-term contract for nine months. The role involves collecting parcels up to 30 kg, delivering items, and supporting processing centres.

• Deliver and collect mail and parcels on your route.

• Sort mailbags and ensure items reach processing centres on time.
• Deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
