Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collection and Network Driver in Chippenham. You will work 15 hours per week across five days, typically between 15:00 and 18:00, on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. The role involves delivering mail, collecting items, and visiting business customers. A full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required.

You’ll join a team delivering trusted service to doorstep customers, with opportunities for progression and a focus on service quality.

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
