Job summary

Catering is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. This permanent full-time role oversees cold store operations and drives performance, safety and team success from the floor.

You will work with your team to ensure smooth daily operations, with overtime available and clear pathways for career progression. Starting salary is £33,000 with progression to £35,000 after probation, and realistic earnings of £40,000–£45,000 per year with overtime.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in warehouse, stores or manufacturing environments.
• Strong IT skills with Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a cold store environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising cold store warehouse operations and daily workflow.
• Leading, motivating and developing warehouse staff.
• Monitoring productivity and performance metrics.
• Maintaining health and safety standards.
