Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a warehouse picker at our Salfords depot. The role is 40 hours per week, 5 days in 6 including bank holidays, with temperatures at -20°C in a cold store, protective clothing provided and breaks to warm up.

You will pack frozen orders for dispatch, ensure accuracy, assist the office team, report health and safety issues, and contribute to improving efficiencies. A salary of £13.45 per hour plus bonus and company benefits is on offer.

Qualifications

• Evidence of commitment and stability.
• Good attendance and timekeeping.
• Numerate and literate.
• Basic secondary education required.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately for next‑day dispatch.
• Ensuring orders are placed in the correct cages and are traceable.
• Helping the office team where appropriate.
• Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Contributing to improving efficiencies and operational processes.
