Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a reliable packing operative to help pack customers' frozen orders in a -20°C cold store. Protective clothing is provided, with breaks to warm up and a hot drink when needed.

You will report to the Driver Supervisor and Senior Freezer Operative, ensuring timely, accurate packing for dispatch next morning. This role involves picking orders with zero mistakes, helping to improve efficiencies, and assisting the office team where required.

Qualifications

• Essential: evidence of commitment and stability.
• Good attendance and timekeeping.
• Numerate and literate.
• Basic secondary education.
• Desirable: Health & Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer orders arriving later are accurately picked and placed for the next morning.
• Pick orders and ensure zero mistakes.
• Improve efficiencies and apply them in daily tasks.
• Assist the office team where appropriate.
• Report health and safety, stock quality, and mechanical issues.
