Job summary

Honesty Group in Berkshire (Wokingham area) is looking for a friendly Coffee Shop Assistant to welcome customers and help us serve handmade bread, pastries and drinks.

You’ll support food prep, keep the shop clean, and assist with daily tasks while learning our systems and standards. Full training is provided, with a focus on honesty, community and great hospitality.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve exceptional coffee and freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries.
• Look after customers, chat, laugh, listen, make them feel at home.
• Help in food prep, check temperatures and food safety; follow high standards.
• Support events, take phone orders, answer inquiries.
• Keep things clean and welcoming: tables, floors, toilets, indoor/outdoor areas.
• Do stock work: take deliveries, rotate stock, display products, run fridge checks.
• Help with end-of-day tasks: log waste, cash up, lock up.
• Use our systems (laptop, Slack, email) to stay in the loop.

Working Hours:

8 HR Contract: 11:00 - 15:00, Saturday & 10:30 - 14:30, Sunday.

What You’ll Do

As part of our team, you’ll help bring our vision to life every day:

• Serve exceptional coffee and freshly baked bread, cakes & pastries (all made by hand!)

• Look after customers chat, laugh, listen, make them feel at home
